ESGAA Men’s Gaelic Football Program

The Essex Shillelaghs GAA (ESGAA) Men’s Gaelic Football Program offers an exciting, community-focused format designed to welcome new players, re-engage returning athletes, and build toward competitive opportunities.

Registration & Fees

  • West Orange Residents: $50/year
  • Non-Residents: $60/year

Annual registration covers participation in all applicable divisions and seasons during the calendar year.

Spring and Fall Pub League (Recreational)

The team will participate in a Pub League, featuring local partners including The Shillelagh Pub, St. James Gate, and Danaher’s. 

  • Unified Weekly Training:
    All registered players will train together once per week in West Orange, focusing on skills development, fitness, and team play in a fun, social environment.
  • Match Play:
    Players will have the opportunity to compete in 7-on-7 recreational matches, culminating in the crowning of the Pub League Champion.

Summer Opportunities

Based on player interest and availability:

  • Additional Summer recreational seasons may be offered.
  • If sufficient interest and qualified players emerge from the Pub League, ESGAA may field a Junior B team to compete in the NY GAA Fall Season & Championship. Additional fees for participating may apply.
