Registration for Women’s 2024 Gaelic Football

In association with the Town of West Orange Department of Recreation and the New York Ladies GAA, we are excited to announce the formation of a women’s Gaelic Football program for Fall 2024.

Registration fees for the Fall season are:

– West Orange Residents: $75 per player

– Non-Residents: $85 per player

Nicknamed the “Shi-Ladies”, women 17 years of age and over will join a team forming to play with the NYLGAA this Fall.  Wednesday night practices will take place at our home field in West Orange with games running September through October. The competitions will be in the “B” division and first-time players will find themselves very welcome.

Participants will receive game shorts and socks with their registration fee. Team shirts will be provided for games but must be returned at the end of play.

Fall 2024 Schedule:

All games take place at Frank Golden Park in Queens (132nd Street & 14th Road, College Point, NY).

Week 1 – September 15, 11 a.m.

Week 2 – September 22 , 10 a.m.

Week 3 – September 29 – no game

Week 4 – October 6, 11 a.m.

Week 5 – October 20, 11 a.m.
